Heritage Days Parade
On Saturday, 06/26/10 we had the opportuninty to participate in the Heritage Days Parade in Syracuse. One of my supervisors lives in the city and put in an entry for UHP. We arranged to represent as many of the UHP cars as possible. We had the UHP classic car which is shown below, the Ford Mustang, an unmarked Ford crown vic, MY marked Ford crown vic, and a Dodge Charger. Luke was so excited all week leading up to the parade about being able to throw candy to the crowd. It was our first parade to participate in, and we fell short on our candy stock. We only made it about halfway thru and then we ran out of candy. Once the candy was gone, Luke lost interest in the parade and kept asking how much longer until its over. About a quarter way thru the parade, the UHP Classic broke down and I had to use my push bumper to get it out of the parade and off to the side...It was alot of fun and the fam enjoyed it too!
