Quick Boating trip

On Thursday we went to the Lake with some of Erin's family. Utah Lake is at full capacity so we made a quick trip there. I say quick, because thats just what it was...Utah lake is shallow, so when the wind picks up, it only takes a matter of minutes to get choppy. We launched at the Provo marina and drove out a little ways and jumped in for a swim. I got in first because the kiddos were a little nervous. Tessa was the next bravest and got in with me...then Jackson, Luke, and eventullay Holly. Some thick black rain clouds were moving in so we headed back for the marina to eat lunch on the boat. After lunch, we decided to pull the boat off the water because the wind was picking up. The kids played on the Provo marina beach area while we waited out the weather. It turned out to be a smart decision, because within a half hour or so, the wind picked up and it started to whitecap and the launch ramps started filling up because everyone was getting off the lake. So the boat was only in for about a half hour or so, but it still turned out to be a fun swim far from shore, a picnic on the boat, and a short swim on the beach. Even though it was short, it was still alot of fun...Next up, Boat trip with the Heywoods!!! Unlcle Ben and his daughter Breanne...
