SACRIFICE !

On Wednesday night after I had left to work. Erin slipped on some ice while loading her nephew in the car. She had Cooper in her arms and fell in a way as to protect Cooper from being injured. She was able to avoid harm to Cooper, but in doing so, she dislocated her knee and was taken to the hospital. X-rays were negative, and they popped her knee back in place. Her kneecap still moves freely, and is not supposed to. She will need to see a specialist to see if surgery is necessary. She is Ok, but has a brace on her right leg. She will be out of work for a few days til the swelling goes down. We will update you when we know more!

Some people will do anything to get off work.

Admirable reaction. You can learn a lot about someone by their split second decisions when someone else is involved.

Erin saw a specialist today... She will have to have surgery. It will be on January 21st and recovery is supposed to only be a few days.

Today Erin was able to put more weight on it and swelling is going down as time progesses.

She feels pretty good considering what happened...

Erin's family and G & G Ashmore have been awesome in helping out with Luke and helping Erin. I was at work when it happened, and worked again tonight. So thanks guys for stepping in to help us out.

Ice sucks, unless of course you want a cold drink, then it's not so bad. Get well soon. John

Dad slipped on ice too! He was on his bike and he landed with the handlebar to the ribs! Crunch. He needs some 'get better soon' posts.
